Friends of Borth-y-Gest           Events 2016

We aim to hold three open meetings a year, in Spring, Autumn and Winter. These meetings are an opportunity to hear what’s been going on, to ask questions of the committee and to make suggestions for future events or topics for the committee to consider. We also try to have a speaker on a topic of interest to the area.

St Cyngar's Church 1.30pm Friday 7th July  Tom Niesser, raised in the village and a wonderful singer, is holding a FREE CONCERT in St Cyngar's next Friday. The Concert may be free, but the event is in aid of the victims of the dreadful Grenfell Tower fire so bring your wallets and purses!
Here are some details: Recently graduated Musicians Morgana Warren-Jones (Leeds) and Thomas Nießer (Bristol) are returning to North Wales to raise money for Victims of the recent Grenfell Tower disaster. Accompanied by Royal Northern College of Music Pianist Iwan Owen, and with music ranging from Opera classics to Welsh folk songs, this promises to be a hugely enjoyable cultural event in the North Walian Calender.

Coffee Mornings in Borth y Gest will begin again on the first Tuesday of the month at 10.30am in Seaview Coffee Lounge starting in September 2017. Everyone is welcome.

Please see Village Noticeboard for more information on this and other events.
