Friends of Borth-y-Gest           Events 2016

We aim to hold three open meetings a year, in Spring, Autumn and Winter. These meetings are an opportunity to hear what’s been going on, to ask questions of the committee and to make suggestions for future events or topics for the committee to consider. We also try to have a speaker on a topic of interest to the area.

Borth y Gest Open Gardens Day will be held next year on Sunday 25th June 2017 from 11am to 5pm.  This biennial event has proved hugely successful and should not be missed.  Borth-y-Gest is a unique village centred on the picturesque Glaslyn Estuary.  At least thirteen very varied gardens, including some with outstanding views, will be open so allow plenty of time to get round them all.  Refreshments will be available in several places in the village.  Maps and entry passes can be bought on the day from a stall in the carpark, £5 per adult, accompanied children free. Proceeds to go to Hospice At Home and Wales Air Ambulance.  This will be the fourth open garden event to be organised by The Friends of Borth-y-Gest.  For more information contact Cathy Woodhead (Secretary of the ByG Open Gardens Committee) on 01766 512115.

Coffee Mornings in Borth y Gest have begun again on the first Tuesday of the month at 10.30am in Seaview Coffee Lounge. Everyone is welcome.

Please see Village Noticeboard for more information on this and other events.
